LAC TWP has installed Solar Panels to power our Municipal Building, Hancocks Bridge Fire House, Public Works Garage, Ambulance Building, Senior Community Building and the Leisure Arms Complex Lift Station; with 376.5 KW total generating capacity, solar has supplied approximately 43.7 pct of the municipalities total electric needs.
