Letter from Mayor Collier
Dear Members of the Township Committee and Residents of Lower Alloways Creek,
I am writing to formally notify you that, following my recent appointment as County Commissioner, I will be stepping down from my position on the Lower Alloways Creek Township Committee.
It has truly been an honor to serve this township. Over the past years, I have had the privilege of working alongside dedicated committee members, municipal staff, and volunteers who care deeply about this community and its well-being. I am grateful for the spirit of cooperation, mutual respect, and shared commitment that have defined our work together.
I want to thank my fellow committee members for their partnership and thoughtful engagement, and I extend sincere appreciation to the township employees and volunteers whose daily efforts sustain the operations and character of Lower Alloways Creek. I am also thankful to the residents who place their trust in local government and remain actively invested in the future of our community.
As I transition to serving at the county level, I am confident the remaining committee members will continue all the good work we’ve begun. I remain committed to advocating for the interests of this township as well as the broader county and to approaching that work with continued integrity, transparency, and careful stewardship of public resources.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve Lower Alloways Creek. It has been a meaningful and incredibly rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the trust extended to me during my time on the Township Committee.
Sincerely,
Paul Collier
