*ALERT* Residents, if your Recycling Container clearly has non recyclable items visable when the Recycling Truck stops to pick it up. That Recycling Container will not be emptied, until, all non recyclable materials are removed.

The only approved recycling materials to be placed in the Recycling Containers are:

NEW RECYCLING GUIDELINE

Please ONLY recycle bottle-grade plastics (numbered 1 and 2), LOOK FOR THE SYMBOL

  # 1 PET Polyethylene terephthalate Typically: Plastic soft drink, water, sports drink, beer, mouthwash, catsup and salad dressing bottles. Peanut butter, pickle, jelly and jam jars.

 # 2 HDPE High density polyethylene Typically: Milk, water, juice, cosmetic, shampoo, dish and laundry detergent bottles.

  ALONG WITH food containers made of steel, tin, aluminum or glass, also newspapers, magazines, cartons, clean cardboard and other papers

DO NOT , DEFINITELY NOT, NOT AT ALL, BY NO MEANS, NO WAY

PUT OUT WITH RECYCLABLES

 (these are trash)

EMPTY MOTOR OIL CONTAINERS, ANTI-FREEZE CONTAINERS, OR ANY PRODUCT WITH A RECYCLING SYMBOL OTHER THAN THE TWO ACCEPTABLE ONES ABOVE
